Elizabeth

A soldier climbs up the metal stairs to take his post in the guard tower. Surrounded by nothing but wilderness and endless silence echoed only by his thoughts. How does the first hour of his shift feel like? And the second, the third? Is the fifth any different? In the high and narrow metallic tower, one soldier swaps another, shift after shift. No one can remember when it all started or when it will end. In this cubicle of rusted metal, soldiers take turns guarding and facing time.
